Cabot Outdoor Recreation

Getting outdoors in Cabot is easy, and there are a lot of options. The Cabot Rec Committee hosts events & programs, and there are many other groups doing the same!

Please read on to see what our town has to offer, and reach out directly via the links listed if you have questions, as these programs are not operated by the Cabot Rec Committee.

Cabot Outdoor Activity Groups & Programs

Ride the Ridges

Ride The Ridges is an annual supported biking day, and fundraiser for Cabot Mentoring. Great biking, great scenery, great local food, and all for a great cause!

Cabot Skating Rink

The Cabot Rink is located in the heart of Cabot Village. Weather permitting, we have ice late December-mid-March. Loaner skates are available at the rink, in good condition, and just about every size. This facility is 100% volunteer built and maintained.

Cabot Trails Network

Visit the Cabot Trails Network Facebook page to learn more about where the trails are, and how to use them. The trails committee is committed to developing a non-motorized trail network to link our designated village center to regional networks and local recreation amenities

Central Vermont Little League

Central Vermont Little League (CVTLL) is the Little League International affiliate supporting nine Vermont towns: Berlin, Cabot, Calais, East Montpelier, Marshfield, Middlesex, Montpelier, Plainfield, and Worcester.

Northeast Kingdom Warriors

The Northeast Kingdom Warrior Soccer Club is dedicated to providing soccer opportunities to youth in Cabot and the surrounding communities.

Cabot Town Forest

VAST

Cabot has many snowmobile trails, and downtown is a great place to stop for gas, food and a conversation.

Girls on the Run

Girls on the Run Vermont helps girls in 3rd to 8th grade to attain social, physical and emotional well-being through fun, uplifting activities.

Vermont State Parks : Swim, Hike, Camp & Boat in Vermont State Parks!

Visit the Cabot Public Library to borrow a day pass.
